1. PSP360+ and HIPAA Compliance
While PSP360+ is not a covered entity under HIPAA, we do serve healthcare providers and organizations that are. As such, we understand the importance of maintaining the privacy and security of Protected Health Information (PHI) as defined by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA).

We take every reasonable step to support HIPAA-compliant practices when handling data provided to us for billing services or related support.

2. How We Handle PHI
When performing services like billing assessments or revenue cycle support, we may receive access to:

~Patient billing codes and claim details
~ EMR system data (as authorized by the client)

This data is accessed only:

~ With your consent and authorization.
~ By credentialed team members trained in HIPAA standards.

We do not store or retain PHI beyond the scope of the service unless under an active service agreement.

3. Business Associate Agreements (BAA)

If your organization is a Covered Entity and you require us to access PHI, we will enter into a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with your clinic or facility. This agreement outlines:
